mi victorious battle with ze cookrach

'twas dawn of sunday when me went down to get me a glass of water and ze great cookrach approached me in ze kitchen. ze cookrach gave me a jolt!

so me run for me life and grabbed me a can of Raid anti-cookrach spray!

me sprayed! and sprayed and sprayed!! and sprayed me heart ouwt!

from ze sink to ze floor to ze stairs... ze cookrach seemed invincible....

me was grief-striken... why is ze cookrach not dead when me sprayed lotsa Raid anti-cookrach spray? me is perplexed! what could have me done wrong, eh?

so me aimed real good at ze cookrach and me sprayed and sprayed and sprayed agin!

in vain, ze cookrach was gone all of a sudden....

so me climbed up to me bed and slept a good night's sleep thinking ze cookrach is such a brave fellow...

come morrow, me saw ze good 'ol cookrach dead body at ze foot of me stairs. HURRAH!! me won!!

WANTED: Housemate

We're currently looking for TWO (2) housemates who will bring our humble apartment love and prosperity (ahahaha unsa na chinese lucky charm?!) ...

Our unit is located in Guadalupe, Cebu City... Near these landmarks: Guadalupe Elementary School, Ramon Duterte High School, Fairlane Village, PRC, Jollibee V. Rama, Chinabank V. Rama, BPI V. Rama, Fooda Guadalupe, Convergys Banawa, Crown Regency Hotel, Capitol, the mercado at the V. Rama-Banawa intersection... ug daghan pa!

We have a 3-Bedroom Apartment. 2-Storeys. Two (2) sets of Toilet and Bath. We also have a kitchen. Water is FREE. But the electricity we all have to evenly divide amongst ourselves.

We have ONE (1) ROOM available right this very moment. The room is good for TWO (2). Rent is CHEAP. Just P4,000 pesosesoses.......... for the whole room. The term for payment is 2-months deposit, 1-month advance. Deposit is non-consumable until after the contract. Contract is good until November 15, 2008.

THE Dumaguete Trip

And so I went to Dumaguete. It was a sudden decision that came out of nowhere. I'm so fed up with Cebu and realized that I do not have a life in this old city. Geez. It took me almost about a year before I realized that.

I was suppose to stay in Cebu for work. Mom and I had a fight. Kulot was not feeling ok. She hasn't seen her sister for almost a year. That's where the Dumaguete trip came from. Kulot said that she thought I was not too serious about it. Being that some guy from Dumaguete annoyed me a lot (please see the picture attached). But lo and behold! I said to Kulot, I'm going to Dumaguete and I don't care if he's there or his girlfriend's there or if he's changed his number or they had a breakup. I just don't give a flying fcuk, I said. So, we packed our bags... Rode the Ceres bus to Liloan Santander, and the fastcraft to Sibulan, Negros Oriental.

I had fun! No, that's an understatement. I had lots of fun! :) From eating really eeeky burrito in Memento Cafe to drinking Red Horse beer in some obscure sidewalk store infront of Jolibee Norsu; I had an AWESOME time.

And yes, let's not forget that after almost five months of not seeing each other, I'm glad that we're friends again. Although we live in different cities and our worlds are far apart, I got to laugh and sit beside him. He makes me feel comfortable. And boy, was Dave ok?! Hahaha I had a real big laugh when Dave said that Jolibee was waving at him! Hahaha Dave, please take it easy with ze weed! Sorry I forgot to bring you food though. I had so much fun talking and walking with him and I forgot about you... Sorry... :)

I wish to see more of Dumaguete soon. That was the first time I got to really know the city in an outsider's point of view. Which got me to thinking, Lora might be settling in Dumaguete soon. I'll visit her. Then she'll show me around town. Then maybe, just maybe, I'll bump into him again and I'll have a blast! Weeee!
