BOO!!! to Aerophone

I bought a Samsung SGH-U700 phone from Aerophone Sm City Cebu last April 30. After 2 months the LCD suddenly went black. I did not accidentally damage the LCD. I was just texting last Satuday night and suddenly my phone went black.

I bought the unit for almost 11 thousand pesos. I am not a careless user. I take care of my stuff religiously.

When I went to Aerophone for repair because the phone is still under warranty, they asked me to pay for the LCD. They said I only have the service warranty and the hardware was not part of the warranty. Of course, I was appalled. After 2 months, I expect this phone to be at it's very best. I did not even expect to use the phone's warranty and I did not even care to read the warranty card.

So I had a "talk" with Aerophone's owner-slash-manager (for mostly it was an argument). He was talking about compromising and me not understanding. Being the bitch that I am, I called him an imbecile and labeled him stupid (to which he said "Are you calling me stupid?" and to which I replied, "Yes I am!" with all the confident the world has given me). I was shaking and was very upset the whole time. I screamed at the phone. It was just a phone conversation because the owner has his office in the Gorordo site of aerophone. He was almost impossible.

I felt like I was fooled because I was sold a defective phone. I told him it was a lemon and he retorted by saying that electronics would break down at any time. He even tried selling me the difference between my service warranty and the other warranty that they're offering. WTF! I am SO not paying for anything. So I returned the warranty card in exchange for the fees to be waived.

I am not happy about this repair. There were A LOT of changes in my phone. The program was TOTALLY different. The LCD felt different when I used my cam. And one would know the difference between the original LCD and this replacement LCD. I felt like I was seeing the pixels. It was like CRT display vs. LCD... Do you see my point? My whole phone was reprogrammed and the phonebook entries were all deleted. When I took pictures with the front VGA camera, the pictures look dirty and there's so much noise in the pics resolution. Plus after the repair there were scratches on my display that weren't there before!!

The owner even had the guts to tell me that he never should've repaired my phone and that I should go home with my old LCD. If he were infront of me now, I would've slapped him. He does not know what it's like to be out of phone for 2 days and 2 nights. It was like being in the middle of nowhere. UGH! The nerve! I told him that I no longer trust his company and that I will never ever ever ever deal with them or with his people. The people in Aerophone Cyberzone SM City Cebu Northwing (with the exception of the technician) are the worst people in customer service ever!! I did not get their names, but I know their faces. Especially the two girls. Gosh. They made me so upset today!!! I was on the verge of crying and breaking down.

I miss my phone with the old LCD and program. Huhuhuhu

So please, if you're my friend, relative, acquaintance, enemy, teacher...whoever you are and you're buying a cellular phone... never ever buy from AEROPHONE! BOO!

really? sorry to hear that..tsk tsk, they should take good care of their customers more than their products, but i'm not saying that they sell defective products, you know what i mean:-)hehe

Wow! I have most definitely read some material on this in the past and just reading the way you wrote it, gives me the chills... I mean, it's pretty intense to be reading this till the end and not thinking about something relevant to this situation... It's quite the shocker if you ask me. I guess things in this world happen for a reason
